John C. Beale’s crimes were “inexplicable” and “unbelievably egregious,” said Judge Ellen Huvelle in imposing the sentence in a Washington. D.C. federal court.

Beale drew a $200,000 plus salary per year and regularly travelled around the world staying high end hotels – all at the taxpayer’s expense – while claiming to be saving the world from global warming as well as working for the CIA on covert assignments.

“Why did I do this? Greed – simple greed – and I’m ashamed of that greed,” Beale told the court. He also said it was possible that he got a “rush” and a “sense of excitement” by telling people he was worked for the CIA. “It was something like an addiction,” he said.

Beale pled guilty in September to bilking the government out of nearly $1 million in salary and other benefits over a decade. He perpetrated his fraud largely by failing to show up at the EPA for months at a time, including one 18-month stretch starting in June 2011 when he did “absolutely no work,” as his lawyer acknowledged in a sentencing memo filed last week.

I believe that climate research is necessary but it has been heavily politicized, which has undermined a lot of the work that researchers have been doing. Mr Trump’s decisions will be based upon solid science, not politicized science.”

US Senate rebuffs Obama on climate change

                           President Obama has been rebuffed on climate change by the US Senate.
“The international community needs to be aware that the U.S. Congress and the American people do not support President Obama’s international climate agenda,” Inhofe said.   President Obama has already been rebuffed by the entire US Congress on the JASTA bill.  his veto on this Congress  ruling has been overturned by the Congress.    This follows on from his rebuff on climate change by the US Senate as set out by Senate environment chairman Senator Jim Inhofe.

Presidential hopeful Nicolas Sarkozy reckons that climate change is not caused by man and that the world has far bigger problems on its hands than global warming.

Nicolas Sarkozy, who is fighting to regain the presidency that he lost to François Hollande in 2012, has finally come out of the closet as a climate skeptic.

Speaking in front of business leaders Sarkozy, a candidate for Les Republicains party primary in November, told them that man alone was not to blame for climate change.

“Climate has been changing for four billion years,” the former president said according to AFP. “Sahara has become a desert, it isn’t because of industry. You need to be as arrogant as men are to believe we changed the climate.”

Sarkozy has minimized the climate change in the past, but up until now he has never openly suggested that man was not to blame.

It appears the ex-president has an all round grudge against climate change.

The former president believes the world should be concentrating on the rise in the population and movement of people rather than worrying so much about global warming.

Mini Ice Age on the way. UK Physics professor Valentina Zharkova. Northumbria University

                                In complete contrast to the UN climate scare stories  UK professor of physics at Northumbria University Dr Valentina Zharkova has announced new research findings indicate the world is faced with an approaching mini ice age based on the exceptional behaviour of the sun.(see report by Peter McCusker Newcastle Chronicle.)  Her new research is based on observations of magnetic field variations in the sun over time.      
                  She confidently predicts a Solar Grand Minima in solar cycle 25 starting in 2020 and lasting for at least 33 years.  Professor Zharkova believes that the cool summer we are experiencing is a precursor of what lies ahead.  Sun spot activity on the sun is declining and the last time that happened was in the 17th century from 1645 to 1715 known as the Maunder Minimum when people skated on the Thames. The global temperature then dropped two degrees with very cold bitter winters.
                She has been studying background magnetic waves on the surface of the sun coming from both hemispheres and interacting with each other. The magnetic waves start their journey from opposite hemispheres of the sun and when they interact sun spots are produced. The intensity and number of sun spots depend on the amphiltude of the waves when they cross.  The wave amphiltude in Solar Cycle 25 starting in 2020 will be much reduced.   Sun spot activity and amplitude will decline as the sun goes through cycle 25 into cycle 26.  As the magnetic waves fail to cross this will mean no sunspot activity and so much cooler temperatures.
                She says "the sun controls the temperature of all of the planets and anything else is pure fallacy".   She goes on to say that"the models that are being used to support this idea of man made global warming are flawed.  Much of the research is misleading and the models downplay solar activity but it is solar activity that is the key player in determining global temperatures"

Last month was the hottest June ever recorded worldwide, and the 14th straight month that global heat records were broken, scientists say.

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says global sea temperatures were fractionally higher than for June last year while land temperatures tied.

Its global temperature records date back 137 years, to 1880.

Most scientists attribute the increases to greenhouse gas emissions.

They also say climate change is at least partially to blame for a number of environmental disasters around the world.

The combined average temperature over global land and ocean surfaces for June was 0.9C above the 20th Century average of 15.5C, the NOAA said in its monthly report.

Last year was the hottest on record, beating 2014, which had previously held the title.

Summary: the independently corroborated evidence ofa much shorter CO2 absorption time means a faster removal of CO2.  this lowers the upper bound of antropogenic CO2 considerably, to only a couple of percent.  almost all the CO2 increase is therefore beyond human control.
                       After the turn of the century the growth of fossil fuel emission underwent a three fold increase. this resulted in 200% more CO2 being emitted by fossil fuel during the following decade than was emitted during the preceding decade.  yet the evolution of CO2 was virtually unchanged. Relative to natural variations (Climatological noise) increased CO2 from fossil fuel emission is presently not detectable.

the Solar boom and bust!

                        Recently the BBC reported about a body called REN21 with a headline "Renewable energy surge reaches record levels"   The green advocates in the BBC see solar and wind as the future. As Christopher Booker has pointed out what the BBC did not tell readers is that REN21 is the world`s leading lobby group for "green" energy. What they omit of course is that in the case of solar panels their output averages no more than 15 percent of their capacity.  As Booker points out no-one would think of building a solar farm without massive subsidies.   The reality is that the BP Energy Review shows that solar power provides less than 1 percent of the world`s electricity and barely 0.3 percent of all its energy.  Despite all the billions poured into the "solar boom" the startling feature is the regularity with which the companies investing in it go bust.

                   One of the first in 2011 despite being given more than half a billion dollars by President Obama was a US firm Solyndra.  This was followed in 2013 by the collapse of Solar Trust of America, given a $2.1 billion loan guarantee by the Obama administration to build the largest solar farm in the world in California.  Last March the collapse of Europe`s largest solar company Abengoa after building two billion dollar solar farms in the US was the biggest bankruptcy in Spanish history.  Another giant US firm Sun Edison last year valued at $10 billion has seen its shares fall from $33.44 last July to barely a cent. Among those enraged by Sun Edison`s bankruptcy has been the residents of several Wiltshire villages who only agreed to the US firm covering 56 acres of their countryside in blue panels because their communities were promised £40 000 of which they will now never see a penny!

                         In a devastating blow to  climate alarmists American Presidential candidate Donald Trump said if he is elected President he will renegotiate the conditions for America`s involvement in the UN global climate accord reached in Paris December 2015(reported by Heartland Institute climate weekly report 214). In an appearance on the Hugh Hewitt Show he said "I am not a believer in man made global warming, we have much bigger problems" he went on to say he will cut the budget of the Environmental Protection Agency in the US.   He told Reuters "those agreements are one sided agreements and they are bad for the United States" he said he believes China would not adhere to its pledge under the Paris agreement.

On Monday, May 2 the Colorado Supreme Court ruled on what the New York Times (NYT) called: “a lengthy battle for energy production.” The court’s unanimous decision to strike down two cities’ limits on fracking is a victory for oil-and-gas companies and a “disappointment” to anti-fossil-fuel activists. Several states, including Colorado’s neighbors, New Mexico and Texas, have faced similar anti-oil-and-gas initiatives that have also been shot down.

The Colorado Supreme Court reached the same conclusion as the lower court: The fracking bans put in place by Fort Collins and Longmont are “invalid and unenforceable” because state law trumps the local ordinances. A report from Colorado Public Radio states: “The ruling will have an impact on other Front Range communities—including Broomfield, Lafayette, and Boulder—that have approved restrictions on fracking. The court clearly said that these efforts are illegal.”

                 A three year super La Nina is coming with global cooling. it is already making its presence felt this month.   NOAA has predicted an unusually cold sea surface temperature especially in the second half of 2016.  combine that with a sun spot dearth on the sun and the world is facing a devastatingly cold 2016/2017 winter.(report notrickszone.com)  as far as the UK is concerned this comes at a time of perilous reduction in electricity capacity(Daily Telegraph report Emily Gosden 18/4/16)

This with the cooling sun and the earth farther from the sun in its orbit will mean very cold months in 2016/2017 winter.

The German climate science site, No Tricks Zone(Notrickszone.com) has assembled a list of approximately 250 peer-reviewed academic articles published in 2015 demonstrating nature has a significant role in ongoing climate change, contrary to the dominant meme humans are solely or primarily responsible for catastrophic climate change.

Many of the articles stress solar activity plays a dominant role in climate change. For instance:

Mounting evidence from proxy records suggests that variations in solar activity have played a significant role in triggering past climate changes. Our results indicate a close link between solar activity and SSTs in the northern North Atlantic during the past 4000 yr. ... Furthermore, the high-resolution SST record indicates that climate in the North Atlantic regions follows solar activity variations on multi-decadal to centennial time scales. (Geology, February 2015)

[I]n order to account for the problem of urbanization bias, we compile a new estimate of Northern Hemisphere surface air temperature trends since 1881, using records from predominantly rural stations in the monthly Global Historical Climatology Network dataset. A strong correlation is found ..., implying that solar variability has been the dominant influence on Northern Hemisphere temperature trends since at least 1881. There has been widespread investigation of the drivers of changes in global temperatures. However, there has been remarkably little consideration of the magnitude of the changes to be expected over a period of a few decades or even a century. [W]hile some portion of the temperature change observed in the 20th century was probably caused by greenhouse gases, there is a strong likelihood that the major portion was due to natural variations. A host of articles addressed the positive role the changing climate and increasing carbon dioxide have had on plant growth and agricultural yields. For instance:

The Sahel region of Northern Africa is home to more than 50 million people for whom summer rainfall is a crucial water resource in terms of food security and societal stability. From April to October 2015 it is clearly seen that tropical temperature, representing the El Nino rises considerably above the global temperature.  From October they both then move in synchronous movement proving that the high temperatures we have experienced are entirely due to the natural Pacific El Nino and nothing to do with human carbon dioxide. Leading Authority on Sea Levels Disputes Study Asserting Sea Level Rise Is Fastest in 27 Centuries by Paul Homewood By Paul Homewood From New American: A newly released study led by Bob Kopp, a climate scientist at Rutgers University and nine colleagues from several U.S. and global universities claims: “The 20th century rise [in sea levels] was extremely likely faster than during any of the 27 previous centuries.” However, the findings of the study were immediately challenged by Dr. Nils-Axel Morner, the former head of the paleogeophysics and geodynamics department at Stockholm University and a leading world authority on sea levels and coastal erosion. “The PNAS paper is another sad contribution to the demagogic anti-science campaign for AGW. It is at odds with observational facts and ethical principles,” Morner wrote to the Climate Depot news service. “The paper is full of very bad violations of observational facts,” Morner continued. For instance, the Kopp paper says that the tide gauges at Christmas Island, Kiribati, show increases, yet as Morner notes, while showing the tide gauge record from that island for the past 40 years, "How can anyone find a rapidly rising trend in this tide gauge record? It is flat or rather slowly falling — but in no way rising.” He added that nowhere are there records of true "acceleration." US Supreme Court blocks Obama`s global warming plans. A fatal blow struck against man made climate change.

The U.S. Supreme Court just delivered a major blow to President Barack Obama’s global warming agenda by halting the implementation of a key Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulation on carbon dioxide emissions.

The court won’t allow the EPA to implement its so-called Clean Power Plan (CPP), which aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from power plants 32 percent by 2030. This is a big win for the 29 states suing the federal government to stop a rule expected to cripple the coal industry.

“Five justices of the Supreme Court agreed with North Dakota and other parties that EPA’s regulation would impose massive irreparable harms on North Dakota and the rest of the country and that there was a substantial likelihood EPA was acting unlawfully,” Paul Seby, an attorney with law firm Greenberg Traurig representing the state of North Dakota, told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

States asked the Supreme Court to halt implementation of the CPP after a lower court rejected their appeal in January. Now,Attorney General Morrisey and the Obama administration will make their oral arguments on the merits of the law in front of federal judges in June.  " Make no mistake this is a great victory for West Virginia" said the West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey who is leading the 26 states who have filed opposition.  The Obama administration does not have legality on its side. The Paris Agreement on global warming has not been ratified by the Senate. Tom Pyle President of the Institute for Energy Research said "this will be a fatal blow to the president`s climate agenda"

1921, 1931 and 1934 being the three
hottest. as for wet months, UK Met
Office records going back to 1776
show the wettest December in England
and Wales was in 1876 and the
wettest month was October 1903.

Research Corporation (SSRC), a
world leader in climate prediction,
has abandoned these three data sets
and will rely only on University of
alabama and Remote Sensing Systems
satellite measurements, neither of

climate bodies, NOaa and Nasa,
and President Obama, of deceiving
the public over the true status of the

               Scientists at the University of Alabama Huntsville (UAH) have recorded from satellite measurements(unlike terrestrial temperature data sets satellite measurements cannot be manipulated) and have noted that for 2015 the temperature was 0.27 degrees celsius above the global average.which is within the El Nino range which is a natural occurrence.  The warmest year in the satellite record was 1998.  Both 1998 and 2010 were warmer than 2015.   the 0.27 degrees is statistically insignificant.  The satellite readings are measured from five miles up 24/7 and unlike the terrestrial measurements are not subject to deliberate interference. SSRC(Space and Science Research Corporation) a world leader in climate prediction has accused both the US government climate bodies NOAA and NASA and President Obama of deceiving the public regarding the true status of the earth climate.  Temperature readings have been deliberately lowered before 1998 and raised after 1998 giving a false impression to the public that the earth is warming when the opposite is the case.  Hadcrut 4, Giss and NCDC have been altered to suit the alarmist agenda(fully documented in Professor Plimer`s new book  "Heaven and Hell" now available from Amazon Books).  SSRC have now dropped the US government ground based global temperature data from its list of reliable sources and now only uses UAH and RSS satellite measurements.  SSRC said "until scientific integrity is restored to the White House and in the rest of the federal government we will be forced to rely solely on satellite data" NOAA rewrote the 200 plus year historical temperature dataset to make the last twenty years appear warmer than the past.   Met office statements on the December wet month only go back to 1910(when records were digital).  however as Delingpole has pointed out the Met office records go back to 1776 where the wettest December was in 1876 and the wettest calendar month was October 1903(  this from J Delingpole (Breitbart).  Who is fooling who? Its certainly not Delingpole, Spencer or the Daily Caller!
