Russian Professor of Natural Sciences says continued global warming is a myth!

Geologist Professor Nikolai Dobretsov President of the Natural Sciences Divisionof the Russian Academy of Sciences says that the cycles of waxing and waning of ice in the Arctic shows that continued global warming is a myth and the current climate cycles will follow a period of global cooling to the end of this century.  He has noted that recent  studies have observed alternating cycles of growth and decline in Arctic ice mass. He said that "the ice minimum was recorded in 2007. Between 2008 and 2011 and it seems in 2012 the ice has grown back.  The winters in the Arctic are getting colder.  Continued global warming is a myth".  He stressed that in order to clarify the situation it is necessary to develop a complex network of observing stations in the Arctic region.  (reports in Voice of Russia  26 March 2012 and see also Milenio 7 April 2012)
