NEWS---New climate movement formed, Heartland Institute conference, Celebration of 80th anniversary of splitting the atom

             News items:
                         A new worldwide climate group has been formed called Principia Scientific International (PSI) which goes back to the Scientific method of observation and verifiable evidence and which rejects the existence of the so called greenhouse effect. The web site is http://principia-scientific.org  where more information can be found.  Its first chair is Professor Timothy Ball former Professor of Climatology at the University of Winnipeg and its latest recruit is Professor Ian Plimer Professor of Geology at the University of Adelaide.
         
                      The Heartland Institute in Chicago is holding its 7th International climate conference in late May.

                      An event to mark the 80th anniversary of the splitting of the atom at Cambridge in 1932 will be held at the University of Dublin on Friday 13 April 2012 detailing the work of both Professor Ernest Walton and Professor John Cockcroft and their  momentous work which led to the award of the Nobel Prize.
