UKIP party will abolish the Climate Change Act of 2008 if elected to power in May General Election!

The United Kingdom Independence Party(UKIP) in  their manifesto have said they will abolish the 2008 UK Climate Change Act if elected on 7 May General Election in the UK.  This Act is costing consumers a massive £18 billion a year!   They also say they will scrap the Large Combustion Plant Directive and encourage the re-development of British power stations.  They support the development of shale gas with proper safeguards for the local environment.  Also they will stop any new proposed subsidies for wind farms and solar arrays.  They will abolish green taxes and charges in order to reduce fuel bills.
