Ice Age Arriving. Lowest temperatures in NE America for 20 years. Sun enters weakest solar cycle in a century!

                   The sun has entered its weakest solar cycle for a century.   not since cycle 14 which peaked in February 1906 has there been a solar cycle with fewer sunspots.   We are more than six years into solar cycle 24 and the sun is spotless despite being in the solar maximum phase of the cycle. Cycle 24 began after a very deep solar minimum that lasted 2007-2009 which included more spotless days compared to any minimum in a century.   the X-ray output is a good measure of the sun`s activity.  See graphic where the x-ray output is flatlining. Previous low sun activity have been the "Maunder Minimum 1645-1715 named after the solar astronomer Edward Maunder.. Also the Dalton Minimum 1790-1830 named after the English meteorologist John Dalton.  both these were part of what is known as The Little Ice Age when people were able to skate on the river Thames.
                  With the great lakes in Canada frozen over and with temperatures in North America as low as -28celsius and the lowest for 20 years it is clear the earth is entering a new climate age, not global warming but rapidly global cooling!   In the UK the Guardian newspaper has reported 28 000 deaths in the fortnight ending 23 January according to the ONS(Office for National Statics).  This is 32% higher than the average for that period over the previous five years(21 859)..

Professor Murry Salby in London: Control of Atmospheric CO2. 17 March 2015

                 Professor Murry Salby(Sydney) is returning again to the UK in March this year.  He will be speaking on 17 March at the Emmanuel Centre, Marsham Street London SW1P 3DW (near both Victoria and Westminster underground stations).

             The title of his talk is "CONTROL OF ATMOSPHERIC CO2".     This new research applies observed changes of climate and atmospheric tracers to resolve the budget of atmospheric carbon dioxide.  It reveals the mechanism behind the evolution of CO2, including the increase during the 20th century.  Thereby, the analysis determines the respective roles of human and natural sources of CO2, with an upper bound on the contribution from fossil fuel emission.

Deliberate illegal manipulation of temperature station data by US climate bodies such as GHCN.

                 Christopher Booker(Sunday Telegraph) reports recently of the discoveries of Paul Homewood(Notalotofpeopleknowthat blog) that the official US GHCN  climate network has been manipulating temperature data from weather stations.  GHCN is the US government`s Global Historical Climate Network.   His original discovery was around three weather stations in Paraguay where he found that the actual trends of 60 years of temperature data had been dramatically reversed, so that a cooling trend was changed to one that showed a marked warming.  Homewood then checked other South American weather stations around the original three.  In each case he found the same suspicious one way adjustments.   Homewood is now investigating weather stations across much of the Arctic, between Canada(51 degrees W) and the heart of Siberia(87 degrees E).  He found that in nearly every case the same one way adjustments have been made, to show warming up to 1 degree C or more higher than was indicated by the original real data that was actually recorded. Giss has now lowered Arctic temperatures to give the impression of warming.   In other words fraud on an unprecedented scale.   Giss is the Goddard Institute for Space Studies originally led by James Hansen  whose  predictions have been totally discredited.                  

The war on carbon fuels.

             The generals in this war on carbon fuels have no real interest in the facts or science of global climate change.  They see climate alarmism as a great opportunity to achieve their goal of creating an unelected global government.  They have even laid out their plans in a document called Agenda 21.  This group includes the UN, the EU, and left wing politicians and media everywhere.At a news conference in Brussels recently  the executive secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Christina Figueres admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to "change the economic development model" ie destroy what is left of free enterprise and private property.

            Then there are the enviro-entrepreneurs forever seeking new crusades to energise their supporters and get the donations rolling in---Greenpeace, WWF etc. (The Greenpeace vandals recently vandalised one of Peru`s sacred sights and may face jail again!--editor).  In the dark corner are the anti-human Malthusians and the deep Greens who want to get rid of most of us other people.  They are personified by the rich and powerful such as Prince Charles and Maurice Strong.  They know that carbon fuels support millions of people by cultivating, harvesting, transporting, processing and storing most of the food that supports the cities of the world.  Killing the use of carbon fuels will certainly achieve their goal of reduced world population.

                 The Chinese of course are great supporters of green energy as long as it is installed elsewhere---eg they supply the machines and solar panels and then welcome the factories forced from the host country by soaring electricity prices.  The government bureaucracy and the research grants industry love to highlight the "climate crisis" as it can be blamed for any weather event anytime, anywhere.  It is unlikely to be solved no matter how many dollars are thrown at it--a problem that does not exist can never be "solved".  The sinister "Greenhouse effect" is invisible, mysterious in operation, debatable and allows anyone to produce their own scare story. However the alarmist empire has a hollow heart----the earth has refused to warm, the alarmist "science" is crumbling, their climate models are discredited, some researchers (even some in US government bodies---see recent articles by Christopher Booker in Daily Telegraph) have been exposed manipulating records and results and the costs of green electricity is skyrocketing.  The public is growing restive, governments can no longer afford the climate industry cuckoo in the public nest and the ranks of skeptics grow. The climate revolt is spreading fast.
