Professor Murry Salby(Sydney) is returning again to the UK in March this year. He will be speaking on 17 March at the Emmanuel Centre, Marsham Street London SW1P 3DW (near both Victoria and Westminster underground stations).
The title of his talk is "CONTROL OF ATMOSPHERIC CO2". This new research applies observed changes of climate and atmospheric tracers to resolve the budget of atmospheric carbon dioxide. It reveals the mechanism behind the evolution of CO2, including the increase during the 20th century. Thereby, the analysis determines the respective roles of human and natural sources of CO2, with an upper bound on the contribution from fossil fuel emission.
This is free admission but please book: firstname.lastname@example.org
Professor Salby`s book Physics of the Atmosphere and Climate 2012 is published by Cambridge University Press.
