Subsidies for wind turbines stopped in House of Commons vote!
ten minute rule bill to outlaw public suibsidies for wind turbines has just been voted through in the UK House of Commons
The vote in the UK House of Commons was passed by two votes 59 to 57. The support of the two UKIP MPs was decisive. Billions of pounds have been deliberately diverted away from more efficient ways of generating electricity into wind farms. This is a huge step forward for reliable fossil fuel generating electricity.
