Prime Minister`s climate change opinion not backed up by science says the UK Met Office!

David Cameron`s comments that the floods are linked to climate change are not backed up by scientific research says the Met office.  Nicola Maxey from the UK Met office said there was a crucial distinction between weather and climate change.   "What happened at the end of December and at the beginning of January is weather" she said.  "Climate change happens on a global scale and weather happens at a local scale"   She went on. " At the moment there is no evidence to suggest that these storms are more intense because of climate change".(Report in Daily Telegraph 9 January 2014)
