76 year old grandmother arrested for praying in public

a 76 year old Liverpool grandmother has been arrested for praying in public.   Rosa Lalor was walking outside praying during lockdown last year when she was arrested, placed in a police car and fined£200.   Court action is now being taken against the police and in defence of the right to pray in public in the UK.  Please contribute and support Rosa`s right to pray.

Dear Friend,

You may be aware of the ridiculous charges that are coming against Rosa Lalor, a 76-year-old grandmother in the U.K.

Rosa was accosted by law enforcement as she walked down a neighborhood street in Liverpool. At the time, temporary COVID-19 lockdown measures were in place that she was extremely careful to follow. Rosa even wore a mask, though it wasn’t mandated at the time.

Masked, and praying silently as she walked, the officer accused Rosa of protesting, noting that she wasn’t in a house of worship and pointing out that she was in the vicinity of an abortion clinic.

Immediately, Rosa was arrested, detained in a police car, fined, and charged under a temporary coronavirus regulatory measure that sought to ban activities on the street for the sake of public health.    (Alliance defending freedom)
