Considering that for the first 3 months of 2020 there were very few cases of Covid, the excess deaths are almost entirely attributable to April-Dec 2020.
The CDC also state that it can take several weeks for death records to be received and reported, so the figures reported for late December onwards will certainly be revised up.
So in summary, the excess deaths due to Covid-19 are showing up in the data, and will be even more evident as 2021 progresses.
