Queensland Labour government backs coal mining the Galilee Basin.

       Climate change was supposed to have won the Labour party the Australian election.   However after having been heavily defeated its panicked leaders backed the mining of a coalfield bigger than the UK!.   Fearing total defeat at the next state elections next year and facing a rebellion against its plans to halve Australia`s carbon emissions, the Labour state government of Queensland accelerated its decision on 105 thousand square miles of coal rich outback land known as the Galilee Basin .  The decision comes days after the party lost the "climate election" to the incumbent centre right  pro coal government of born again christian Scott Morrison.  Annastacia Palaszczuk the Queensland premier announced she was overturning all attempts to block mining.  Australia is the world`s largest coal exporter.
