Dr Hammond is a christian missionary with contacts and friends in both Ukraine and in Russia. He notes there are more born again christians in Russia than in most other european countries. He speaks about Vladimir Putin in particular (at about the 35-45 mark in the video). He says that Putin was brought up by his mother who was a christian and had a big influence on him. He was baptised in 1952 and has come to faith in Christ. He still wears the cross that his mother gave him. This is quite a long interview but well worth taking the time to watch and listen and learn.
