Michael Mann Retracts False Nobel Prize Claims in Humiliating Climbdown

                          Penn State University (PSU) climatologist, Michael Mann, has conceded defeat in his claims to be a Nobel Peace Prize winner.  His employer Penn State University has begun the shameful task of divesting itself of all inflated claims on university websites and official documentation that Mann was ever a Peace Prize recipient with Al Gore and the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.  Even Wikipedia is hurriedly re-writing their biography of  Mann, the leading alarmist climatologist in the US, within 24 hours of Tom Richard of Examiner.com obtaining confirmation from the Nobel committee that Mann had lied in his sworn affidavit filed last week in the District of Columbia Court.  The whole climate ball game has now been changed.   The alarmist movement is on the run.

                                 John O`Sullivan CEO of Principia-Scientific reports that the Norwegian Nobel Institute has today made a statement affirming that climate scientist, Michael Mann lied when he claimed he was a joint winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.  Tom Richard investigating for Examiner.com takes the credit for this sensational scoop.  Richard records that he got a reply from Professor Geir Lundestad of the Norwegian Nobel Institute that said "Michael Mann has never been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize".

Global warming activists are outraged.  It was only in April this year that Obama declared to Rolling Stone that he would make global warming a key campaign issue in 2012.  Obama has let down part of his political base by going silent on this issue.    As Morano says the answer is clear.  The man made global warming fear movement never overcame having a partisan figure like Al Gore being its public face and suffered from having the scandal ridden and distrusted UN IPCC as the source of its science.  Other factors are the global economic slow down and the climategate scandal of the released e-mails from the University of East Anglia. This had massive consequences on public opinion and the collapse of the UN climate treaty talks.   In addition the continued disintegration of the warmists climate claims by real world data showing the world is not warming but cooling and there has been no global warming for at least sixteen years in spite of a rise in carbon emissions.
